St. Lucia

🚵
Island of Adventure

The varied landscape of St. Lucia guarantees adventure at every turn! The most notorious sight on the island, the majestic Pitons, can be scaled by experienced hikers without climbing equipment, offering an unforgettable view at the peak. This World Heritage Site continues below the water’s surface, where boats and divers can explore the biodiversity amongst the coral reefs. In the South of the island, a dormant volcano created an area of mud pools formed by hot springs, which have become a unique tourist attraction. After a relaxing soak, enhance your experience by showering in the neighbouring 15m-high waterfall. For those wishing for an adventure for the tastebuds, St. Lucia is home to Hotel Chocolat’s Rabot Estate, which hosts experiences to immerse you into the confectionery world, with plenty of tastings on offer.

Dominica

🤫
Island of Hidden Gems

As one of the lesser-known islands, Dominica is a fantastic choice for those wishing to discover something new on their Caribbean cruise. Splattered with volcanoes, rainforests and waterfalls, the island’s habitats are unexplored compared to those of its neighbours, offering a true adventure for hikers. With a guide, it’s possible to traverse through gorges, around fumaroles and next to coral reefs within a day’s itinerary.  The island is home to the Caribbean’s first native population, the Kalinago people, who open their original village to visitors who wish to gain a perspective of life before the arrival of Columbus. Dominica is also known for its wellness culture due to its volcanic, sulphur spas, fresh local produce and mountain river waters that are so clean, they can be drunk straight from the cupping of your hands. A trip to this island is sure to surprise and enthral and, most importantly, leave you feeling relaxed with a new perspective of the Caribbean.
