Bolette
Bolette joined the Fred. Olsen fleet in 2020 and is named after the great-great-grandmother of company chairman, Fred. Olsen Junior. Formerly sailing as Amsterdam for Holland America Line, she was acquired along with her sister ship Borealis during a fleet reshuffle. Bolette is large enough to offer a variety of amenities but small enough to retain the line’s signature intimate feel. She primarily sails to destinations across Northern Europe, but also has itineraries to the Canary Islands, Mediterranean and the Caribbean. Onboard, Bolette impresses with a stylish two-tiered theatre, an inviting spa and a range of elegant lounges and restaurants including Colours & Tastes and The View.

Borealis
Borealis also joined the fleet in 2020, alongside Bolette, having previously sailed as Rotterdam for Holland America Line. Like her sister ship Bolette, she was named in honour of Fred. Olsen's Norwegian roots. Back in the 1940's, the Olsen business included a ship names Borealis, inspired by the beauty of the Northern Lights. Borealis usually explores destinations in the Caribbean, but also sails north to Norway and Iceland, with occasional longer voyages south to places such as South America. She carries around 1,360 guests and offers a relaxing onboard experience. Highlights include The Auditorium, for guest lectures and film screenings, The Oriental Tea Room, for afternoon refreshments, and the two-tiered main dining room, which serves expertly crafted dishes for a range of tastes. Borealis is known for her smooth and stable sailing thanks to her mid-size structure and offers a perfect balance between comfort and adventure. Her stylish interiors reflect a timeless elegance with a modern twist.

Balmoral
Balmoral is the oldest and smallest of Fred Olsen's trio, but she remains a firm favourite among their loyal cruisers. She joined the fleet in 2007, after being lengthened to increase passenger capacity and onboard amenities. Previously sailing as Crown Odyssey and Norwegian Crown, she has a long history on the seas. She tends to focus on UK departures to destinations like the Norwegian fjords, Western Europe and the Baltics. She delivers a traditional cruise experience with plenty of modern comforts for her 1,325 guests. Balmoral is especially admired for its wraparound promenade deck, intimate lounges and the Observatory, which offers panoramic views during scenic cruising. Her warm and welcoming atmosphere, along with attentive service, makes her ideal for those seeking a relaxed and classic style of travel.
