Tips for activities

  • Be prepared to get involved spontaneously - the Happenings Cast run different programs throughout the day which are free and don't require booking. Get ready for spontaneous yoga or beach volleyball.
  • If you enjoy snorkeling, there's a chance to head to the Sapona ship wreck to visit the wreckage from 1925.
  • Be by the pool by 1pm when the party starts - it's the place to be in the afternoon.
  • There are three different types of cabanas to rent on the island. They all have the same space and a round of drinks included, the only difference being their location. You can choose from the beach, the lagoon or the grove.
  • The cabanas have thatched rooves and one open side, so they don't have air con but do provide good shade.

Tips for food and drink

  • Have a big breakfast as there's no food until lunchtime at the club.
  • The rum cake is legendary - so don't miss out.
  • You use your wearable Bar Tab bracket in the bars and it works in exactly the same way as onboard with the Free extra credit scheme.
  • There's no dinner option on the island so if you're staying for the evening festivities, you need to head back to the ship for dinner before sunset or leave the party early.

Extra tips from us to you

  • Once you're off the boat, there's a ten minute tram ride to the club. It's the second stop on the journey.
  • Make sure you take everything for the day with you as it's a tram ride back to the ship.
  • There's plenty of seating options at the club, so there's no rush in the morning unless you have your heart set on a particular hammock.
  • There's plenty of towels available, so no need to bring yours off the ship.
  • If you're looking for a quieter spot as your base, the best bets are the hammocks at the back of the club or loungers just outside the Rock Star access.
  • The Rock Star areas are not well sigh posted, so ensure you've read the map so you don't wander in accidently.
  • There's free WiFi on the island, just like onboard.
  • Virgin have looked to make the club as accessible as possible. On request, there is a pool lift, beach wheelchairs and a Mobimat, that allows wheelchair users to get closer to the sea.
  • The club light fires and turn on the fairy lights at sunset which is a sight to behold. It's definitely worth staying for but make sure you bring the bug spray.
  • You don't have to go to the club if you would prefer to explore the island of Bimini. You would miss out on the free access, activities and food but it's good to know that there are other options should you prefer.
